Pursuant to subsection 44(1) and subparagraph 36(1)(a)(ii) of the Waters Act, the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board intends to consider, on its own motion, the renewal of MV2009L3-0005, the municipal Type A Water Licence for the Town of Hay River. The Board intends to consider a six-month renewal of the Water Licence, setting the new Licence expiry date to November 30, 2020.
