is currently looking for a
INDUSTRIAL MINE ELECTRICIAN
Full Time – Monday to Friday
Based out of Yellowknife on the Giant mine site
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a northern community setting with limited access to resources. Additionally, they will have:
• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician ticket with prior experience in industrial electrical repair and maintenance in the construction and/or mining industry.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and prints required, with preference given to those with working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in mining operations.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and industry best practices; and
• Experience working in a northern community setting with limited access to resources considered an asset.
• Class 5 Drivers License
The successful candidate must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions On Call as required. Pay Range is $45.00 – $65.00/ hour DOE.We offer Health/Dental, Disability & Group RRSP benefits plan after a 3-month probationary period.
