PUBLIC NOTICE
ZONING AMENDMENT
The Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk has received an application to amend the Zoning By-Law #371: Lot 3, Block 20, Plan 1233 from “Commercial – C” to “Residential – R”
The purpose of the amendment is to accommodate the request by the client (Housing NWT) for the use of residential purpose of the 5 plex apartments as this would comply with Zoning By-law #370.
Copies of the proposed By-Laws are available at the Hamlet Office and may be inspected by the public during normal working office hours of 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
The Council of the Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon on November 15th, 2024 at the Hamlet Council Chambers to hear any representations concerning the By-Law. If you are unable to attend but wish to make a presentation, written representations may be submitted to the Senior Administrative Officer prior to the public hearing.
