Job Description
Do you have experience working and/or living in the lnuvialuit Settlement Region?
Have you worked within a multi-agency or co-management environment?
Have you been a Board Chair or worked as part of a Board before?
Are you passionate about the environmentin the ISR and comfortable working with complex issues?
Fisheries Joint Management Committee is looking for a CHAIRPERSON and this might be the right opportunity for you.
You will also need to have the following skills:
- strong communication
- people leadership
- ability to collaborate with others
- strong administration and organization
The FMJC is responsible for fisheries and marine mammal harvest management within the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.
The Chairperson position is a part-time role.
