Rankin Inlet

The Clinic Director, of the Legal Services Board of Nunavut, is accountable for developing and delivering high quality professional services, effective and efficient office management, and programs and services relating to legal aid.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the regional legal aid clinic with direct supervision responsibilities for administrative and court worker staff in addition to managing financial resources. The Director is also responsible for coordinating high-quality submissions, presentations and responses to the Regional Board of Directors and the Legal Services Board of Nunavut. The position acts as the principal advisor on regional issues to the court workers, board of directors and senior management. To perform this role, your experience includes a number of years in progressive management positions in a related field. Some travel will be required. Salary for this position is currently under review and is supplemented with a compensation package that includes a Northern Living Allowance, housing subsidy, RRSP contribution, health care coverage, professional development opportunities, and vacation travel assistance.
