COMMUNITY WELLNESS WORKER
The Tree of Peace Friendship Centre is seeking a Community Wellness Worker on a term basis to March 31 with the possibility of annual term renewals. The successful applicant must have a sound knowledge in the addictions field and possess excellent administrative/organizational skills, as well as awareness and understanding of the
historical context of alcohol & drug abuse prevention and treatment in a First Nations community. She/he must also be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, be living a healthy lifestyle and be alcohol and drug free for a minimum of two years. Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor would be viewed as an asset.
