Counselling Manager
Permanent, Full time
The Counselling Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the staff, work and logistics of Ilisaqsivik Society Counselling Programs and Services, Probation Services, On-the-Land Addiction Programs, Toll-free Crisis Line, Mobile Trauma Response Services and Local Community Trauma Response Services and other professional development training for the counselling team. The successful candidate will be required to live and work in Clyde River. Housing is included if needed.
Ilisaqsivik has been operating as an Inuit-led not-for-profit for 25 years. Perhaps best known for its Our Life’s Journey: Inuit Counsellor Training and Mentorship, this program was developed in response to the acute need for counselling by Inuit, for Inuit, in Inuktitut.
