Starting wage at $51.95 and is negotiable based on experience and accommodations is provided (Not included utilities)
8 Hour days – 80 hours every two weeks and overtime

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Daycare Coordinator is responsible for developing, delivering, and managing the Daycare Program in the order to ensure a safe, development appropriate environment for children in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, ie: child Daycare act and regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
• Child development theories and practices -successfully completed a two year program in early childhood education from an education institution meeting approval from GNWT ECE with preference
• Safe and appropriate activities for children
• Relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure that children are always supervised and safe at all times.
• Financial management
• Human resources management
• Child program development, implement and evaluation.
• An understating of the northern cultural environment.
Must have:
• Up to date immunization record on file.
• Child First Aid/CPR, knowledge in AED
• Food safe level 1 (or ability to get)
• Criminal Record check & vulnerable sector compete (3 Years)
