Call for Expression of Interest Director for Nukik Corporation (2 year term)
The Kivalliq Inuit Association (KIA) is looking for interested individuals to fill one seat representing the KIA as Director for the Nukik Corporation.
Nukik Corporation is a new Inuit-Owned Corporation that is now leading the Kivalliq Hydro-Fibre Link project on behalf of the Kivalliq Inuit Association and its business arm, Sakku Investments Corporation.
We are looking for a dedicated individual from the Kivalliq Region, with a diverse educational background, experienced business leader, and vision to make a positive contribution to the Nukik Corporation.
Experience in Powerline Transmission and/or Construction would be considered an asset.
In order to be considered for the appointment to the Nukik Corporation Board of Directors, the applicant must:
• Be 18 years of Age or Older
• Be an Inuk Beneficiary under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement
• Be a resident of the Kivalliq Region
• Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Once appointed, the term for this position is for 2 years.
