Expressions of Interest for the following positions:
Electoral Boundaries Commission

An Electoral Boundaries Commission, constituted under the Electoral Boundaries Commission Act, is responsible for reviewing and recommending on the area, boundaries, name and representation of Northwest Territories electoral districts. The
Commission holds public hearings and informs the public about the values, principles and process of determining electoral boundaries.
The Chairperson must be a judge or retired judge of the Supreme Court or of the Court of Appeal. Electoral Boundaries Commission Members cannot be Members of the NWT Legislative Assembly or of a municipal council.
Interested candidates may submit an Expression of Interest to the Legislative Assembly for consideration. It should include a summary of the candidate’s interests, qualifications and experience in serving a similar position. Expressions of Interest can be sent to:
