Smart Communities Society is looking for youth interns for its “Computers for Schools” program with minimum a high school diploma or equivalent, and younger than 30 years old (inclusive) at the start of the internship.
Interns will learn to refurbish, repair, and troubleshoot computers among other skills. During this internship they will have the opportunity to become certified Computer Technicians.
Assets:
• basic understanding of computer equipment and operating systems
• this is an entry-level position with plenty of opportunities to grow in IT field
• basic customer service skills
The internship consists of a minimum 600 hrs and up to maximum of $20,000 in an office environment.
Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour with 37.5 hrs/week
The Internship starts from April 1st, 2021
