is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of
FINANCE OFFICER

Minimum qualifications:

  • diploma in Accounting or Business Administration and three years relevant experience
  • proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • knowledge and experience working with Sage (formerly ACCPAC) accounting software
  • education and Experience equivalencies may be considered
  • accounting / Bookkeeping background

The following are considered assets:

  • experience with SAGE300
  • Class 5 Driver’s License
  • supervising experience
  • accounting background

Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check required

Duties and responsibilities, but not limited to:
Manage day-to-day financial operations; Payroll, employee benefits, accounts payable and receivable; Deposits; Weekly and monthly bank and rent collection reconciliations; Monthly board reports; Quarterly variance reports; GST, Payroll Tax, WSCC remittance; Support and supervision of clerical staff;
