Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman this position takes a lead role in completing heating repairs and maintenance in accordance with work orders, and Housing Authority standards. Applicants must be available to travel outside of Fort Simpson by vehicle, in small aircraft and in various weather conditions with ice road travel to smaller communities possible.

Salary range $86,600 – $91,450 per year dependent on experience, plus Northern Allowance for the community of Fort Simpson and benefits.

Mandatory requirement for this position is a Journeyperson Certificate as a Plumber /Oil Burner Mechanic or Oil Heat Systems Technician. Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence is mandatory. A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector records check is also required.
