Department Information
The Commission scolaire francophone, Territoires du Nord-Quest (CSFTNO) serves approximately 240 students in two schools (École Boréale in Hay River and École Allain St-Cyr in Yellowknife), and is responsible for a staff of approximately 46 administrators, teachers and support staff.
Job Information
Located at École Allain St-Cyr in Yellowknife, the Custodial Worker cleans and cares for the facility and equipment of the school.
As the Custodial Worker you will be responsible for ensuring that the school environment is maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. You will play an essential role in the health, safety and security of students, staff and members of the public. This will have a direct impact on the ability of students to have a successful learning experience and on the ability of teachers to provide instructions in a positive learning environment.
To be successful in this role you will typically need 6 months of related experience. You must obtain Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training within three (3) months of start date.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $26.37 per hour to $31.50 per hour (approximately $54,850 – $65,520.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of$3,700.
