Vital Metals is a rapidly growing mining company that operates Canada’s first rare earth mine. As an organization they aim to be safety proactive and support renewable energy and the green economy by largest independent supplier of clean mixed rare earth in North America. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the General Manager will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of their Canadian based operations. The ideal candidate will be a mining professional who has a proven track record of success within a leadership capacity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
• Assisting with development of new mine operating processes and procedures
• Direction, leadership, motivation, and health of the workforce
• Drive a culture of zero harm at the mine site, with an uncompromising commitment to health, safety, and the environment.
