Tłı̨chǫ Łeàgı̨ą TsʾĮı̨lı̨ Kǫ

HOUSING STABILITY WORKER
Located in Behchokô, and directly reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will support Northern Pathways to Housing tenants in the community.

Requirements:

  • a University degree or diploma in social work or equivalent
  • community and cultural knowledge of the Tåîchô culture and language
  • at least two years of experience in counselling, case management or other frontline service for vulnerable population
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong computer and documentation skills
  • in-depth understanding of intergenerational trauma and best practices in harm reduction
  • must provide a satisfactory RCMP criminal records check, including a vulnerable sector check prior to hiring
