is recruiting a
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
This non-union management position plays an essential role on the management team of our municipality.
Responsibilities include:
• Talent acquisition, (supporting the recruitment process from job postings to candidate screening, interviews and offers
• Employee engagement and employee relations
• HR Operations (onboarding new employees, processing payroll, offboarding employees, completing WSCC paperwork)
• Learning, development and succession planning
This non-union position is paid $47/hour, plus a Nunavut Northern Allowance of $26,345 and hamlet benefits, including relocation and subsidized staff housing, as required.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of progressive HR management experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications. Preference will be given to Nunavut Inuit.
