Full-Time Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement Manager
Job Description
Under the direction of the Senior Hope Bay Project Officer of KIA’s Department of Lands and Environment, the IIBA Manager is responsible for the execution of the agreement and is to facilitate success in Inuit training, employment and business contracting for the Hope Bay Project. Specifically, the IIBA Manager is to monitor, review, and track data on training, prepare evaluation reports, and to provide secretarial support to the Implementation Committee. Duty travel is frequently required.
The successful applicant will have either a university degree in Management or Administration along with three years of experience or a two-year college diploma with five years of related experience. Fluency in Inuinnaqtun or Inuktitut is considered an asset. KIA encourages beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claim Agreement to apply. Equivalencies may be considered.
The starting salary for the position ranges from $81,420 to $103,508 and a northern and housing allowance of $19,800 and a generous vacation travel assistance package. Relocation assistance is available, and housing will be available for those residing outside of Kugluktuk.
