Job Description
Yellowknife Education District No. 1 (YK1) invites applications for the following term
position:
Junior Kindergarten Instructor
(Montessori Program)
N. J. Macpherson School
One-Year Term
2022-2023 School Year
The successful candidate should have:
• a two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma
• Montessori Training/Experience or willingness to train
• High School Diploma
• experience working with Indigenous families
• proven ability to work independently
• experience working in pre-school
• trained in First Aid and CPR
Only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
Candidates must have an original acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) in place. The original VSC must be dated within 90 days of the date the application is received.
