MAINTENANCE PLUMBER/OBM-INDETERMINATE
The Fort Resolution Housing Authority is responsible for the delivery of social housing in the community of Fort Resolution.
The Plumber/ Oil Burner Mechanic perform preventative maintenance checks; service and repair the plumbing and heating systems in all LHO operated assets. This is a unionized position who will report to the Maintenance Foreman
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
• Ability to inspect plumbing and hot water systems and equipment
• Ability to complete repairs and installation, in accordance to the Plumbing and Heating Codes
• Ability to supervise and train apprentices and casual staff
• Ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability and willingness to keep up-to-date with technology
Your educational background will include:
• Journeyman Plumber/OBM Certificate. Class “A” gas fitter certificate. You must be able to register with the NWTHC Boiler Inspector for the gas portion of the ticket
• Class 5 NWT Driver’s License is required.
• Knowledge of Computer based systems (Web works) is an asset.
• Three years of related experience is essential.
Salary –$92,936.00, this is a unionized position with a generous benefit package.
