Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will not only have working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and flooring they will also have the proven ability to be a motivated person with exceptional leadership and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
• supervision of maintenance workers and labourers
• in cooperation with the Regional Manager, determine priorities and work deadlines
• facilitating weekly tool box meetings
• completing timesheets
• completing and assigning maintenance requests
• troubleshooting
• performing minor repairs on heating, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, walls and flooring
• moving furniture, equipment, materials and supplies
• removing trash and items from suites/grounds
Requirements:
• proven organizational and time management skills
• leadership experience – leading by example
• computer, spreadsheet, work orders, timesheet experience
• basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring and drywall experience
• is physically fit and able to lift up to 70lbs
• boiler knowledge and experience is preferred
• valid driver’s license and Criminal Record Check (free of relevant convictions)
