NOMINATION CALL & NOTICE OF ELECTIONS FOR NUNAVUT EMPLOYEES UNION (NEU) 8th TRIENNIAL CONVENTION DELEGATES
Pursuant to NEU By-Law 13 Section 5, at least three (3) months prior to the opening date of the Convention, each Local may elect from among its Members, a number of Delegates to attend the NEU 8th Triennial Convention being held from October 5 to October 7, 2021 in Iqaluit, Nunavut. In order to be a candidate, a Member must be a Member in Good Standing of the Union and must agree in writing to stand for election and to be nominated by at least two (2) other Members in Good Standing from their Local. The candidates receiving the highest number of votes shall be the Delegates to Convention.
The nomination period opens on March 19, 2021 and closes on April 30, 2021. The elections for the Delegates will be announced after this nomination period. If you are interested in being nominated, or to get more information or nomination forms, please:

CALL OUT FOR RESOLUTIONS
All Resolutions from Locals shall be received no later than sixty (60) days prior to the opening of Convention. The call out for Resolutions period opens on March 19, 2021 and closes on April 30, 2021.
Any Member who wants to submit a Resolution, obtain a Resolution form or requires assistance with completing and submitting a Resolution can:

How to Apply
Resolution forms will be available throughout the call out period for Resolutions at www.neu.ca.
All the Resolutions received will be sent to the respective Locals for approval.
