NOTICE OF AMENDMENT APPLICATION

Project: Rayrock (Kwetı̨ı̨ɂaà) Remediation Project
Location: Rayrock (Kwetı̨ı̨ɂaà), NT
Purpose: Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada – Contaminants and Remediation Division (CIRNAC-CARD) submitted an application to amend its Type A Water Licence (Licence) W2020L8-0003. The Applicant is requesting to amend: Part C, Condition 1 of the Licence to include winter road construction as a water use to the existing approved water source (Sherman Lake waterbody); and Part E, Condition 17 to change Effluent Quality Criteria (EQC) for Total Suspended Solids (TSS).The Applicant is also proposing the inclusion of a containment structure as contingency for camp wastewater management.
