NOTICE OF AMENDMENT
The Inuvialuit Water Board (IWB) is considering amending the term of water licence N7L1-1836 pursuant to Section 36 (1) (b) (iii) of the Waters Act:
Licensee: Imperial Oil Resources
Location: Lat. 69° 0’ 44” N
Long. 134° 40’ 57” W
Purpose:
BAR-C DEW Line / IOL Tununuk Remediation Project
Site monitoring has identified the need to extend the monitoring program. A suggested ninety (90) day extension of the existing licence will provide IOL with sufficient time to prepare an application for renewal of the current water licence and for the IWB to undertake and complete its consideration of the application. All other conditions of water licence N7L1-1836 remain unchanged.
Individuals or parties wishing to provide comments regarding the amendment of this licence should provide written submissions to the IWB by March 6, 2020.
