Applicant: Canadian Zinc Corporation
Location: Prairie Creek Mine – All Season Road, Prairie Creek Mine Site Area, NT
Purpose: Type B Water Licence Amendment and Type A Land Use Permit Amendment Applications – Private Road. Canadian Zinc Corporation has applied to amend its Permit and Licence to allow for the extraction of rock material from an existing quarry, located at the north-end of the on-site airstrip, prior to/in the absence of a Borrow Pit plan. The extracted material will be used to prevent/address erosion at the Prairie Creek Mine Site and along the existing roadbed north of the mine, on territorial land.
