The Minister of Infrastructure has awarded the following negotiated contract:

• Five-year contract (April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2025) for the provision of biomass heat to six Government of Northwest Territories’ (GNWT) assets in Inuvik to Nihtat Energy.

This contract has been negotiated and awarded under the authority of the Executive Council to achieve employment, capacity building, and business opportunities for the residents within the Beaufort Delta region.
