Applicant: Diavik Diamond Mines (2012) Inc. (DDMI)
Location: Diavik Diamond Mine, Lac de Gras, NT
Purpose: DDMI has proposed to amend its Type AWater Licence (W2015L2-0001) to include progressive reclamation activities associated with the decommissioning of collection ponds.

A public hearing will be held by the Board to fulfill 41(2)(b) of the Waters Act on May 29 – June 2, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The hearing will be held at the Ko`? Gocho Sportsplex Centre in Behchoko`?, NT in accordance with the LWB Rules of Procedure.
Written interventions for this public hearing must be submitted to the Board at the address below by 5:00 p.m., April 25, 2023.

If no notice is received of persons indicating their intention to appear and make presentations concerning the Application, and the Applicant consents in writing to the disposition of the matter without a public hearing, the Board may cancel the hearing as per subsection 41(3) of the Waters Act.
