Location: The Public Hearing will be held virtually and in-person in Yellowknife as warranted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Purpose: Type A Licence Renewal and New Type A Permit Application – Mining and Milling, and Mineral Exploration – Prairie Creek Mine

A public hearing will be held by the Board to fulfill 41(2)(a) of the Waters Act and section 24 of the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act on December 13 – 16, 2021. The location and format of the Public Hearing will be contingent upon the COVID orders and restrictions set by the Chief Public Health Officer. Once set, the Public Hearing will be in accordance with the Board’s Rules of Procedure.
