Type A Mineral Exploration – Pine Point Confirmation and Exploration Program

A public hearing will be held by the Board to fulfill 41(2)(a) of the Waters Act and section 24 of the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act on June 15 – 17, 2021. The location and format of the Public Hearing will be contingent upon the COVID orders and restrictions set by the Chief Public Health Officer. Once set the Public Hearing will be in accordance with the Board’s Rules of Procedure.

Please note that there is a separate Environmental Assessment proceeding for the Mining and Milling activities for Pine Point Mining Limited with the Mackenzie Valley Review Board (EA2021-01). This hearing is for the Confirmation and Exploration Program with the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board and is not related to the Environmental Assessment.
