Call for 2023 Arctic Winter Games
REGIONAL COORDINATOR
The 2023 Arctic Winter Games is being held in Wood Buffalo AB, January 29th – February 4th, 2023.
Sport North is currently seeking interested individuals to acts as an Regional Coordinator in the Yellowknife, Beaufort Delta, Sahtu, Mackenzie, and South Slave Regions.
The Regional Coordinator is the liaison person for Sport North in their respective region. They are responsible for ensuring that the AWG Team Handbook is adhered to.
Their duties include:
• report to and take direction from the AWG Chef de Mission on all aspects of the Arctic Winter Games process
• be Sport North’s representative in the Region and update their respective communities on all aspects of the Arctic Winter Games
• maintain a close working relationship with Territorial Trial Host Communities, Territorial Sport
Organizations, and Sport North, to ensure that all parties are properly informed of all developments
• oversee the program logistics of the Territorial Trials
Contract Terms:
Start Date: October 1st, 2022
End Date: January 31st, 2023
Amount: $1000.00 per month
