Job Description
Established in 1997, the Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) is a not-for-profit organization that employs 20-plus people. AEA has offices in Inuvik, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson, Whati, Hay River and Yellowknife.
Currently we are recruiting for the following position:
Regional Energy Project Coordinator – Inuvik
Permanent, Full-time
The Regional Energy Project Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works together with the AEA team, with a focus on delivering AEA programs in the communities in their region. The Project Coordinator’s role is to assist NWT individuals, businesses, institutions and communities to implement projects that reduce their energy costs and related greenhouse gas emissions. The Project Coordinator liaises with appropriate AEA staff for advice and completion of community projects.
This position involves travel to NWT communities (by air and/or winter road).
