REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE POSITION
Speaker of the Tł chǫ Assembly
The Tłıchǫ Government is requesting Expressions of Interest submissions from Tłıchǫ Citizens for the position of Speaker of the Tłıchǫ Assembly.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Chair all sessions of the Tłıchǫ Assembly and the Annual Gathering
• Apply the Tłıchǫ Assembly Rules of Order;
• Ensure there is decorum during Tłıchǫ Assembly sessions; and
• Chair Tłıchǫ Assembly workshops, caucus, and other similar meetings or gatherings.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must have knowledge of the Tłıchǫ language, culture, and way of life;
• Cannot be a current sitting member of the Tłıchǫ Assembly;
• Must be a Tłıchǫ Citizen; and
• Must speak Tłıchǫ and English fluently

1. Respondents must submit their expression of interest in writing, that includes a cover letter, a resume or both (“Submission”) in full and delivered either in person to the address noted below or by email to the email address noted below:

2. All Submissions must be received by December 17, 2025 at 4:59pm (MDT) (“Closing Date”). Any Submissions received after the Closing Date may not be considered.
Process:
1. All questions or enquiries concerning this Request for Expressions of Interest must be made in writing, either in person or by email to the address noted above, no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the Closing Date.
2. The Tłıchǫ Assembly will review each Submission submitted in accordance with this Expression of Interest, and the successful candidate(s) will be contacted in January/February 2026.
3. The successful candidate shall be required to enter into a Service Agreement with Tłıchǫ Government.
4. This Request for Expressions of Interest is not an offer of any kind.
