Environmental Impact Review Board (EIRB)
Are you passionate about protecting the wildlife and environment within the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR)? Are you a well organized, process oriented person?
The EIRB Resource Coordinator supports the ongoing work of the EIRB, both the day to day administration and operations of the board and the large scale environmental reviews that occur from time to time.
The successful candidate will have good administrative skills, be curious and interested in learning, flexible and able to solve problems. They will have strong organizational skills and good computer skills. They have an interest in environmental issues and are open to collaborating with colleagues in the Environmental Impact and Screening
Committee. The Joint Secretariat is open to candidates that have a relevant combination of knowledge and experience in lieu of formal education.
Preference is given to candidates with knowledge of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement, prior living and/or working experience in Northern Canada and a proven ability to work independently and without close supervision in a co-operative environment.
