The Sachs Harbour Housing Association is seeking a Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and operation of the organization. Duties include, but are not limited to, services to clients and the public, taking applications, collecting rent and dealing with tenant issues for Public and Market Housing units. Duties also include financial administration (Full Cycle Accounting, budgeting, variance reporting, payroll, accounts payable, receivable, inventory and fulfilling audit responsibilities). The successful candidate will supervise two Maintenance staff and needs to have some experience in Human Resource Management and use of accounting software.
The position reports to the Beaufort Delta District Office of the NWT Housing Corporation and works in compliance with the Service Agreement, and policy and procedures set by the NWT Housing Corporation.
Requirements include strong inter personal skills, conflict resolution, human resource management and financial management.
This is usually obtained through a degree in a related field and one year of experience, a diploma and three years experience or a certificate and five years experience.
A Criminal Records Check with a vulnerable sector search is required.
