SALES ASSISTANT / PRODUCTION WORKER
Salary $19 per hour
Old Town Glassworks is a workers cooperative that prides itself in beautiful glassware productions.
We are looking for a full-time candidate to fill the position of Sales Assistant/Production Worker.
This position is a dynamic, multifaceted job that requires a self-directed individual with strong organizational skills and experience in using the Square, entering sales, handling cash and debit transactions. They have an eye for creating attractive showroom presentations and contribute to our cooperative in an honest and friendly manner.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a cooperative setting. This entails effective communication skills to interact with staff, customers, vendors, workshop attendees and other stakeholders. Effective multitasking is essential.The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Cooperative President as well as our General Office Manager to ensure smooth and effective operations in all related departments.
Additionally, the Sales Assistant may be required to help in other areas such as product production.
