YWCA NWT is hiring casual and part-time Crisis Support Workers at Alison McAteer House (Yellowknife). The part-time position must be available to work every second weekend. Shelter workers provide supportive crisis intervention, case management and support, advocacy, and community referrals to current and potential residents of the Alison McAteer House family violence shelter in Yellowknife, NT. Additional duties include offering life skills assistance to residents and helping with day-to-day operations of the shelter.
