Job Description
The Board of Trustees invites applications for the position of Superintendent/CEO of the Yellowknife Education District No. 1.
Yellowknife Education District No. 1 is the largest school district in the Northwest Territories, educating 2,100 students in six schools, with a budget of over
$38 million.
The successful candidate will be a student-focused, visionary leader and coach who will reflect current managerial thought and practice. This candidate will have a successful experience in a variety of public school leadership positions, possess a Master of Education or related degree and qualify for teaching certification in the Northwest Territories.
