SUPPORT STAFF
Purpose
The role of a support staff is to assist in the organization and implementation of programs for children between the ages of infancy and 12 years; organized by the daycare coordinator. The support staff provides care for infants and preschool to school-age children under the guidance of the program supervisor and Early Childhood Educator.
The Support Staff are to report to the Primary staff daily. The Support staff will also work closely with the Primary staff to develop and implement the delivery of the daily programing and/or the operation of the facility. Supervising children while following policies and procedures established by the operator.
Salary
Based off experience and credentials ranges between $20.00-$22.00hr DOE
Requirements and Qualifications
• Experience working with children.
• Minimum age requirement: 16 years
• Completion of health assessment, T.B. test, and maintenance of up-to-date immunization records.
• Valid Standard First Aid training and Level “C” CPR certification.
• Current and satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision.
• High reliability and dependability.
• Availability of personal transportation for commuting to work, unless residing on KFN side
• Fluency in Slavey would be an asset.
