Job Description

FINANCE/ADMIN COORDINATOR
(term, 1 year with possibility of extension)
Working closely with our firm finance team, you will be the main point of contact for the Yellowknife office. Duties will include processing accounts payable/receivable including monthly A/R statements and conducting collections as needed. Monthly reconciliations of visa’s, contractor invoices, expense claims and disbursements. Manage daily cash transactions. Assist as needed with month/year end procedures. Working closely with our scheduling Partner, you will coordinate travel arrangements for field teams, schedule engagement requests, track client records and support remote workers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• two-three years’ experience with accounting and administrative work
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

BOOKKEEPER
(permanent, full time)
The position will be responsible for full cycle accounting for our clients across a wide range of industries in the north. The successful incumbent can expect to work on multiple client files and will require the ability to prioritize and manage their time and workload effectively. Some travel may be required to specific client locations from time to time.  Responsibilities include; data entry, accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, reconciliations (bank, credit card and account), filing of tax forms and remittances.
Qualifications & Skills
• College diploma or Certificate in Accounting preferred
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience
• Proficient with QuickBooks & Sage 50
• Knowledge of Sage 300 (AccPac) would be an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
