Established in 1997, the Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) is a not-for-profit organization that employs 20-plus people. AEA has offices in Inuvik, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson, Whati, Hay River and Yellowknife.
Currently we are recruiting for the following permanent, full-time positions:
PROGRAM AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Located in Yellowknife, this position reports to the Executive Director and provides confidential and skilled administrative support to the AEA team. The Program and Administrative Assistant is the front-line contact for the AEA and interacts on a regular basis with the public, AEA staff, GNWT staff, contractors and consultants. The incumbent may work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work in response to changing demands.
Located in Yellowknife, this position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for budget forecasting, facilitating work planning, reporting to funders and sub-contracting. The position is intended to assist the AEA team in achieving objectives on time and on budget by providing accurate information and practical support. The incumbent may work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work in response to changing demands.
