LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Located in Délı̨nę and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Local Emergency Management Coordinator supports the Délı̨nę K’aow dó K and Local Emergency Management Organization (LEMO) to develop and implement the Délı̨nę Community Emergency Plan and establish other measures in respect of emergency management and ensure the obligations and responsibilities under the Emergency Management Act are fully met. The position provides program delivery of emergency management activities including prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery programming.
DIRECTOR OF LANGUAGE
The Director of Language will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Director will be responsible for implementing language initiatives. This includes development and integration of language programs and services throughout the Délı̨nę Got’ı̨ nę Government and Community of Délı̨nę. The Director will oversee the implementation and delivery of programming that ensures the integration of language in all settings, whether learning takes place in the classroom, on-the- land, in the community, or outside of the community.
DÉLĮNĘ EARLY CHILDCARE MANAGER
The Délı̨nę Early Childcare (DEC) Manager is responsible for providing and implementing a variety of safe developmentally appropriate preschool and daycare programs in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. The DEC Manager will
report to the Director of Education will exercise all duties related to assist with hiring of staff, evaluating, training, supervising staff, the organizing, planning, and evaluating the preschool and daycare programs, responsibilities to budget and financial management.
DÉLĮNĘ PRESCHOOL TEACHER
The Délı̨nę Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. The Preschool Teacher will report to the Délı̨nę Early Childcare Manager and will be responsible for planning and implementing a program to teach young children as well as supervising all Early Childhood staff. The Délı̨nę Preschool Teacher will exercise all duties related to planning, organizing, supervising and control of the Preschool staff, program, services, and resources.
