Appointments to the Community Joint Planning and Management Committees (CJPMC) of various Territorial Parks:
The Government of Nunavut is inviting nominations for appointments to the Community Joint Planning and Management Committees (CJPMC) for the following Territorial Parks:
- The Iqaluit Community Joint Planning and Management Committee (CJPMC) for the Sylvia Grinnell and Qaummaarviit Territorial Parks
- The Cambridge Bay Community Joint Planning and Management Committee (CJPMC) for the Ovayok Territorial Park
- The Rankin Inlet Community Joint Planning and Management Committee (CJPMC) for the Iqalugaarjuup Nunanga Territorial Park
Under the terms of the Umbrella Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement for Territorial Parks in the Nunavut Settlement Area (Territorial Parks IIBA), the Government of Nunavut (GN) is responsible for appointing members to these committees.
The purpose of the Community Joint Planning and Management Committee is to provide advice and recommendations to the GN on all aspects related to the planning, establishment, operation and management of these Territorial Parks.
The Government of Nunavut is seeking individuals who demonstrate an interest, knowledge and experience in parks, Inuit culture, heritage and tourism and wish to make a contribution to the establishment, co-management and planning of one of
these Territorial Parks.

Nominations will only be considered if a resume is attached. Applications will be received until 5 p.m. Mountain Time on or before May 1, 2020.
